My name is Joelene and I run our small family owned business, Pitstop Karting, with my partner Dale. Pitstop Karting is an Australian leading hire kart facility right here in Townsville with a purpose-built outdoor kart track that offers ‘The Ultimate Adrenalin Rush’, thrill and Fun in a Junior, Senior or Passenger Kart! We also operate Pitstop Racing, which is a professional and competitive racing team that can assist with beginning or professional karting, speedway, car racing, and suppling equipment for the sport. We are working towards track experience days and driver training at the new facility out at Calcium with Driveit. On top of managing Pitstop Karting and assisting with Pitstop Racing, we also manage and support Madison Dunston who is a leading Australian Female Race Car driver right here in Townsville. With many fantastic opportunities in the Motorsport world, my job doesn’t feel like a job… I’m living the dream and am enjoying every moment of what our business has to offer.
